Adams opens Drogheda office

Sinn Féin members in Louth, and in particular of the Bobby Sands cumann in Drogheda, welcomed Gerry Adams to the town on Friday 22 February to officially open the Sinn Féin constituency office at Rope Walk. Speaking at the launch, Louth Sinn Féin candidate Arthur Morgan pointed out that although Sinn Féin is the oldest political party on the island, it attracts a youthful vibrant membership who are demanding change. He emphasised the need for a firm local industrial base in the face of growing unemployment levels and called for youth facilities in the town.
