Adams to visit US west coast
Following a successful trip to the East Coast in October, Gerry
Adams will be making a trip to the West Coast next week.
He will be making stops in Los Angeles, Mexico City and San
Francisco.
On Wednesday 11 November Adams will be appearing at a fundraiser
at the Track 16 Art Gallery. The event begins at 7pm.

In Mexico City Adams will be attending a number of events
including the premiere of the the art exhibit entitled Hidden
Truths: Bloody Sunday 1972. The premiere is at 8pm on Thursday 12
November and will be held along with the exhibit itself at Centro
De La Imagen, Plaza Cuidadela, Centro Historico, Mexico City.
Following its run in Mexico City the exhibit will be touring the
United States. On Friday 13 November Adams will be the featured
speaker at a lecture at Anahuac Sur University where he will
receive a Peace Prize from the Mexican Academy of International
Law. Following the lecture a press conference will be held at

On Saturday 14 November 1998 Adams will hold a press conference
at 4pm in the Green Room at the War Memorial Building. Later that
evening he will be attending a community event at the Russian
Hall on Sutter Street in San Francisco. The event begins at 8pm
is open to the public.
