New cumann
Sunday 1 March saw the founding of a new Sinn Féin
cumann in South Armagh at the annual commemoration of
the tragic deaths of IRA volunteers Brendan Burns and
Brendan Moley.
Almost one thousand people attended the march in the
Creggan area, which was adressed by main speaker Jim
McAllister who welcomed the formation of the
Burns/Moley cumann and praised the skilled artistry and
dedication of those who worked on the cumann banner.
Seamus Moley thanked the community, on behalf of both
families, for their ongoing support.
